Admiral Arthur Wartensleben Ewart, Royal Navy, Retired (23 December, 1862 – 18 November, 1922) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Ewart was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1895.[1]

Captain

Ewart was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1901.[2]

On 2 February, 1909, Ewart was appointed to the Ramillies and for command of a group of Special Service vessels at Devonport.[3]

He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 15 March, 1911, vice Jackson.[4]

He was advanced to Admiral on the Retired List on 17 January, 1919.[5]
