Rear Admiral Arent Schuyler Crowninshield (March 14, 1843 – May 27, 1908) served in the United States Navy.
A destroyer completed in 1919 was named in his honor.
Life & Career
On 8 April, 1897, Crowninshield was appointed as Chief, Bureau of Navigation, with the rank of Rear Admiral.[1]
