Price Vaughan Lewes, C.B., and D.S.O. (? – ?) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

He was promoted to Captain on 30 June, 1905.[1]

Captain

In December 1905, Lewes assumed command of the second class protected cruiser Hyacinth.[2]

He was appointed command of the battleship Cæsar on 9 August, 1910.[3]

On 6 June of 1911, he was appointed in command of Commonwealth,[4] operating with the Fourth Battle Squadron.

In July 1914, he was placed in command of the battleship Superb,[5] operating with the First Battle Squadron[6].
