Captain Arthur Lindesay Cay (1869 – 31 May, 1916) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War. In command of HMS Invincible at the Battle of Jutland, he was killed when the ship exploded and sank.
Cay entered the Navy as a cadet in 1882. He took an unprecedented four Firsts in his Lieutenancy exams and after command of the cruiser HMS Achilles, was promoted to the rank of Captain in 1907.
