Commander (retired) Wilfrid St. Aubyn Malleson, V.C. (17 September, 1896 – 21 July, 1975) served in the Royal Navy.
His name appears as Wilfrid in Navy Lists and The National Archives, but Wikipedia for some reason has him as Wilfred.
Life & Career
Malleson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 May, 1918.
Malleson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 May, 1926.
Malleson was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 17 April, 1941.
