Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Donald Mansfield (10 March, 1880 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Mansfield was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 27 July, 1915.[1]
In 1916, he was cautioned following a collision between T.B. 034 and T.B. 057.[2]
Mansfield was appointed in command of the destroyer Kangaroo on 1 January, 1917.[3] Mansfield was granted the acting rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1917. In 1920, it was decided that he would be permitted to retain this rank.[4]
