Captain Ian Agnew Patterson Macintyre, C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O. (24 August, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a deceased Major General of the 2nd (Prince of Wales' Own) Goorkhas.

Macintyre was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1916.[1]

Macintyre was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1924.[2]

Macintyre was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1929.[3]

Macintyre was superseded in command of Osiris on 27 February, 1932 by Gerald Edward Colpoys.

Macintyre was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1937.[4]

World War II

Placed on the Retired List 8 January, 1947.[5]
