H.M.S. Euphrates was one of five Euphrates Class iron screw troopships completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Re-commissioned on 13 April, 1870.[1]

Re-commissioned on 3 June, 1873.[2]

Re-commissioned at Birkenhead 1 July, 1876.[3]

Commissioned at Portsmouth on 12 July, 1882 with officers turned over from H.M.S. Crocodile.[4]

Commissioned at Portsmouth on 5 May, 1886.[5]
