Commander Spencer Dundas Forbes, (29 May, 1874 – 1 November, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Forbes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in September, 1896.
Forbes was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1907.
Forbes was appointed to the armoured cruiser H.M.S. Monmouth on 30 January, 1914 and died when she sank with all hands at the Battle of Coronel on 1 November.
