Commander (emergency) Trevor Eardley-Wilmot, D.S.O., R.N. (20 January, 1884 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Launceston, Tasmania.

Eardley-Wilmot was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1906.

His resignation was accepted on 21 September 1912 and he was transferred to the Emergency List.

Eardley-Wilmot was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1914.

Eardley-Wilmot was appointed in command of the battleship Queen on 17 October, 1916.[1]

Eardley-Wilmot was promoted to the rank of Commander for war services on 11 November, 1918.

World War II

Commenced service in the Royal Australian Navy on 28 August, 1939.
