Captain Horace Cyril Watson, C.B.E., R.N. (9 October, 1876 – 18 April, 1949) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Born in Grange, Northwood.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in September, 1898.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 22 June, 1911.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1916.
Watson was appointed in command of the armoured cruiser Bacchante on 14 January, 1919.[1]
Watson was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon his relief as Deputy Superintendent and Captain of Dockyard and King's Harbour Master, Devonport on 31 March, 1923.
