Commander Cecil Halsted France-Hayhurst, R.N. (4 December, 1874 – 24 February, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Colonel Hayhurst, J.P., France-Hayhurst gained eight months' time on passing out of Britannia.

France-Hayhurst was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1896.

France-Hayhurst was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1907.

France-Hayhurst died of pneumonia in a Glasgow hospital while appointed in command of Patuca.
