Rear-Admiral Eric Gascoigne Robinson, O.B.E., V.C., Royal Navy (16 May, 1882 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Robinson was born in Greenwich, the son of John L. Robinson, a chaplain in the Royal Navy.[1]
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1903.[2]
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August, 1911.[3]
Robinson married Edith Gladys on 8 July, 1913.[4]
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 20 April, 1915.[5][6]
Robinson was appointed to Iron Duke on 22 July, 1919, serving as Fleet Torpedo Officer.[7]
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1920.[8]
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 3 January, 1933 and placed on the Retired List the next day in accordance with Order in Council of 9 March, 1914.[9]
