Captain Philip Streatfeild, M.V.O., (26 May, 1872 – 1960) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Streatfeild was promoted to the rank of Captain on 14 July, 1908.

He assumed command of the destroyer Crescent in January 1910.

In December 1911, Streatfeild relieved Michael Henry Hodges in command of the second class protected cruiser Doris.

He next served as captain of the battleship H.M.S. Triumph for one year, from August 1913, and was appointed command of the Hannibal on 8 September, 1915.[1]

He retired as a captain on 26 January, 1920.
