Lieutenant (retired) Ernest Robert Parrott, R.N. (14 June, 1875 – 30 March, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Parrott was made Boatswain on 1 March, 1900.

Parrott was appointed in command of the twin screw tug Fortitude (formerly Neptune) from 21 December 1912 to 28 April, 1915, being promoted to Chief Boatswain on 1 March, 1915.

Parrott was appointed in command of the trawler Daniel Stroud from 28 April, 1915 to 12 September 1917.

Parrott was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 104 on 12 November, 1917.[1] He remained with her until being appointed in command of the trawler Henry Lancaster from 18 December, 1918 to 4 January, 1921.

Parrott appointed Assistant Fleet Coaling Officer on 4 June, 1921 and worked at this role until he was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Lieutenant upon his relief on 22 July, 1922.
