Vice-Admiral (retired) David Spain, ( – 14 January, 1905) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Spain was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 24 November, 1847.[1]
Spain was promoted to the rank of Commander on 10 May, 1856.[2]
Spain was promoted to the rank of Captain on 27 January, 1862. He served as a Resident Transport Agent in New Zealand.[3]
He was placed on the Retired List on 20 February, 1877 and promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 27 September, 1877.[4]
Spain was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 17 February, 1884.[5]
