Commander (retired) Alwyne Gervase Olliver, (23 October, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Olliver's father had also served in the Navy, but had retired as a Sub-Lieutenant.
Olliver was awarded the Beaufort and Wharton Testimonials for 1914 and the Ronald Megaw Memorial Prize for 1914-15.
Olliver was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1915.
Olliver was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1923.
Olliver was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 April, 1931 and promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 23 October, 1933.
