Lieutenant-Commander John Arnold Lees, R.N. (31 May, 1886 – 1 November, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Hyde.
Lees was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October,1906.
Lees was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 October, 1914.
Lees was appointed to the armoured cruiser Monmouth as torpedo officer on 30 July, 1914 and died when the ship was lost at the Battle of Coronel on 1 November, 1914.
