U.S.S. Gloucester was an armed yacht purchased by the U.S. Navy in 1898 for service in the Spanish-American War.
Construction
Service
Wrecked in a hurricane at Pensacola on 9 September, 1919. Stricken on 12 August, 1919 and sold on 21 November.[7]
