Edward Barry Stewart Bingham ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Bingham was captain of the destroyer Hornet in 1915.[1]

Bingham commanded the destroyer Nestor of the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland, where she was lost after an engineering casualty brought her to a standstill.[2]

He was appointed in command of the yacht Enchantress in September, 1920.[3]

In May, 1931, Bingham was appointed in command of the light cruiser Comus.[4]
