Captain Harold Douglas Briggs (29 September, 1877 – 13 September, 1944) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1917.

He was appointed command of the battleship St. Vincent on 18 July, 1919.[1]

In 1920, he was appointed in command of Resolution as Flag Captain to the Rear-Admiral in the First Battle Squadron.
