Admiral SIR Arthur John Davies, K.B.E., C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (26 September, 1877 – 13 December, 1954) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Davies was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 15 January, 1899.[1]
Davies was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1909.[2]
He was appointed command of Lion in May, 1918.[3]
He was appointed command of King George V on 18 March, 1919.[4]
Davies was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to the King on 8 July, 1926,[5] On 25 October he was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral, vice Kelly.[6]
