Admiral Stuart St. John Farquhar, Royal Navy, Retired (2 October, 1865 – 8 February, 1941) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Farquhar was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1898.[1]

Captain

Farquhar was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1905.[2]

Great War

Appointed command of the battleship Britannia on 19 July, 1916.[3]

Farquhar was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 26 April, 1917.[4] He was placed on the Retired List on 27 April.[5]

Retirement

Farquhar was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 6 April, 1922,[6] and advanced to the Admiral on the Retired List on 25 October, 1926.[7]
