Admiral Alfred Ernest Albert Grant, Royal Navy, Retired (10 April, 1861 – 14 August, 1933) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Grant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1884.[1]
Grant was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1896.[2]
Great War
Grant was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1904.[3]
He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 26 May, 1915, vice Gillett.[4]
Post War
Grant was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 1 November, 1919, vice Browning, and placed on the Retired List on 2 November.[5] He was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 1 August, 1924.[6]
