Admiral of the Fleet Sir Nowell Salmon, V.C., G.C.B. (20 February, 1835 – 14 February, 1912) was an officer of the Royal Navy, serving with exceptional distinction in the Indian Mutiny and after fifty-four years of service became one of the most senior officers.
