The editor in action outside his office.

Simon Harley is a twenty-six year old law student and researcher of the Royal Navy in the Dreadnought Era.

Simon currently lives on the North West coast of England. He is working on a book-length study of the 200 British admirals of the Great War, a topic which encompasses everything from fire-control to sail training. His aim is, in conjunction with Tony Lovell, to make this website an indispensable tool for any student of the Royal Navy in the First World War and the years leading up to it.
