Captain Herbert Reginald Norbury, C.B., Royal Navy (21 May, 1876 – 15 March, 1967) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of H. F. Norbury, Esq., R.N., the Deputy Inspector General of Hospitals.
Norbury was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant dated 14 August, 1896.
Norbury was promoted to the rank of Commander dated 30 June, 1907.
He was promoted to Captain in the New Year of 1914.
He was appointed in command of Talbot on 1 August, 1914.[1]
He retired from the Service in 1923.
Norbury died on 15 March, 1967, at 88 Albion Gate, London.[2] His wife, Violet, had died on the 10th, being buried on the 15th.[3]
