Captain (retired) Godfrey George Webster, R.N. (26 September, 1871 – 12 September, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Dublin.
Webster was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1893
Webster was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1904.
Webster was placed on the Retired List due to non-service on 25 April, 1909.
Webster worked in transport duties in Glasgow at the outset of the war, and then switched to coaling duties at Hulthea and Campbeltown.
