Captain R.N.R. (retired) George Harry Franklin, R.D., R.N.R. (26 July, 1872 – 10 November, 1937) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Franklin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 12 March, 1903.^[1]

Franklin was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 14 April, 1913.^[2]

Franklin was appointed in command of the armed merchant cruiser Osiris II on 1 July, 1918.^[3]

Franklin was placed on the Retired List on 26 July 1922 and granted the rank of Captain R.N.R..
