Commander (retired) Alan Courtenay Moncrieff Bennett, (26 June, 1891 – 26 June, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Son of Consul General Courtenay W. Bennett.[1]

Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1913.[2]

Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August, 1921.[3]

He was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 29 August, 1924.[4]

Bennett was promoted to the rank of Commander on 26 June, 1931.[5]

World War II

Reverted to the Retired List on 1 October 1945.[6]
