Life & Career

Cornelius's first service was in Europa, additional, for duty with the P.N.T.O., Mudros.[2]

Cornelius was promoted to the temporary rank of Sub-Lieutenant R.N.R. on 10 July, 1915. On 1 August, he was admitted to No 15 General Hospital [illeg] for a doubtful case of enteric fever.
