Captain Walter Egerton Woodward, D.S.O., R.N. (10 August, 1874 – 18 February, 1935) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Captain (eventually, Vice-Admiral) Robert Woodward, C.B., R.N..
Woodward was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1895.
Woodward was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1907.
Woodward was appointed to the pre-dreadnought Exmouth on 17 December, 1912,[1] and remained in her until being lent to Medea on 9 April, 1913.
Woodward was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1916.
