Commander (retired) Leopold George Darker Way, O.B.E., R.N. (19 March, 1877 – 22 March, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Portsea.

Way was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1899.[1]

Way was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1907.

Way was granted the acting rank of Commander on 20 September, 1917.

Way was placed on the Retire List at his own request with the rank of Commander on expiration of due leave, which occurred on 14 September, 1921.
