Rear-Admiral (retired) Cathcart Romer Wason, C.M.G., C.I.E. (20 July, 1874 – 12 December, 1941) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Wason gained six months' time on passing out of Britannia.

Wason was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1896.

Wason was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1908.[1]

Wason was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1916.[2]

Post-War

Wason was appointed in command of the light cruiser Comus on 20 March, 1919.[3]

Placed on Retired List at the expiration of his foreign service leave on 10 August, 1922.

Wason was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 July, 1927.
