Lieutenant (retired) George Christopher Spiller, R.N. (26 January, 1872 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Spiller was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 28 September, 1899.

Spiller was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 90 on 28 March, 1913.[1]

Spiller was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 28 September, 1914.

Spiller was appointed to H.M.S. Excellent from 16 October 1919 until 2 January, 1922. In August 1921, he was found to blame for a collision between the trawler Nith and the monitor M.22.

Spiller was placed on Retired List on account of age with the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.
