Vice-Admiral Frank Henderson Pegram, D.S.O., R.N. (25 February, 1890 – 8 March, 1944) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Pegram was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1912.[1]
Pegram was appointed as First Lieutenant and Gunnery officer in General Craufurd in July, 1918.
Pegram was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1920.[2]
Pegram was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1926.[3]
Pegram was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1932.[4]
World War II
Pegram commanded Glasgow from July, 1939 to April, 1940.
Pegram was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 15 January, 1941.[5]
Pegram was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 31 December, 1943. He died of cardiac failure in March 1944.[6]
