Captain (retired) Henry Langley Dickson Pearce, R.N. (23 June, 1862 – 1 July, 1933) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in London.
Pearce was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1886.
Pearce was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1898.
Pearce was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 9 June, 1909.
He helped manage Portsmouth's Boom Defence during the war, and reverted to the Retired List on 1 March, 1919. He then obtained permission to proceed abroad.
