Commander (retired) Thomas John Linberry, (21 November, 1882 – 3 November, 1952) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Linberry was born in Darjeeling, India.[1]

Linberry was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1905.[2]

Linberry was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1913.[3]

Linberry was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 14 June, 1926.[4]

World War II

In 1938, Linberry was granted permission to work as an observer on the Non-Intervention Board. This didn't work out, obviously. He later served in shore appointments at Kirkwall and Cardiff.[5]
