Commander William Beverley Courselles Jones, R.N. (20 March, 1882 – 20 May, 1950) served in the Royal Navy. He changed his last name to "Ross" at some point.
Life & Career
The son of Major Charles Jones of Newcastle.[1]
Jones was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 September, 1901.[2]
Jones was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 20 September, 1909.[3]
Jones was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1918.[4]
Jones was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 21 April, 1922.
World War II
Sent to Buenos Aires, Ross suffered a nervous breakdown.[5]
