Captain (retired) Arthur Napier Heathcote, D.S.O., (6 October, 1850 – 2 November, 1923) served in the Royal Navy in the Dreadnought Era.
Life & Career
Heathcote was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1874.
Heathcote was promoted to the rank of Commander on 21 June, 1887.
He was appointed to the second class battleship Conqueror for the Annual Manoeuvres of 1890 from 22 July, 1890 to 5 September.
Heathcote was lent to command of the gunvessel Curlew for the Annual Manoeuvres of 1892 from 21 July 1892 until she paid off on 24 August.
Heathcote was promoted to the rank of Captain on 21 June, 1902.
