Captain Robert Harris ( – 16 January, 1865) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Harris was promoted to the rank of Commander on 8 June, 1841.
Harris was promoted to the rank of Captain on 19 October, 1849.
He was appointed in command of the Prince Regent on 1 March, 1851, being superseded there on 22 May, 1852.[1]
An appointment in command of the Illustrious ran from 20 January 1854 to 1 January, 1859.[2]
