Lieutenant-Commander Thomas Edwards Greenshields, (6 January, 1884 – 9 August, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Thomas E. Greenshields, a retired ship owner was born in Liverpool.
Greenshields was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1906.[1]
Greenshields was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1914.[2]
Greenshields was appointed in command of the destroyer Duncan briefly in June, 1914 and then was appointed to the battleship Venerable on 6 August 1914. He died in action aboard the battleship H.M.S. Venerable on 9 August, 1915.[3]
