Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. Edward James Courthope, R.N.R. ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Courthope was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 16 October, 1917.[Fact Check]
He was invalided from command of the paddle minesweeper Ascot in March of 1918. His temporary commission was terminated, as he was unfit, on 13 April, 1918.
He was granted free passage to Australia.
