Commander Charles Chadwick, R.N., Retired (14 June, 1863 – 3 March, 1920) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Chadwick was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1887

Chadwick was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander on 14 June, 1908.

On 8 September, 1917, R/A Buncrana reported that Chadwick lacked sobriety and had taken up an "irregular life with [a] married woman at a hotel in Londonderry whilst serving as S.N.O."
