Commander THE HONOURABLE Richard Orlando Beaconsfield Bridgeman, D.S.O. (28 February, 1879 – 9 January, 1917) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Bridgeman was born in London.

Bridgeman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1900.

Bridgeman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 15 February, 1912.

Bridgeman was appointed in command of the destroyer Druid on 28 March, 1912.[1]

Bridgeman was appointed to the second class protected cruiser Challenger on 7 November, 1916 and drowned while flying in East Africa.
