H.M. T.B. 17 was one of thirty-six first-class torpedo boats of the Cricket class.

Service

During the Test Mobilisation, T.B. 17 joined the Nore Local Defence Flotilla. She remained with that formation until September 1915, when she was one of four modern torpedo boats sent to bolster the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.

In February, 1918, she was sent to join the Aegean Squadron.
