Captain William Pennell Stocker, D.S.C. (5 August, 1892 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of architect and surveyor William W. Stocker, Esq..[1]
Stocker was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 15 January, 1913.[2]
Stocker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1914.[3]
He was awarded the Ogilvy Medal for the year 1917, having placed first in qualifying examinations for Lieutenant (T).[4]
Stocker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1922.[5]
Stocker was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1927.[6]
Stocker was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 30 January, 1939.[7]
