Lieutenant-Commander Richard Barklie Lakin, D.S.C.*, D.S.O. (8 October, 1914 – 1 March, 2011) served in the Royal Navy.

I have been unable to find a Service Record for him at The National Archives.

Life & Career

Lakin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 November, 1936.[1]

World War II

Lakin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 November, 1944.[2]

Retired 13 November, 1946.[3]
