H.M.S. L 25 was one of thirty-five "L" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Completed to full complement on 4 February, 1924.[5]
Brought to full commission on 5 February, 1926 for service with the Fifth Submarine Flotilla.[6] She wqas, by 10 March, under Lieutenant-Commander John G. Sutton, though it is not expressly indicated in his service record.[7]
From at least early 1929 through at least mid-1931, she operated with the Fifth Submarine Flotilla.[8][9]
In early 1933 she was one of three boats in Group M submarines in reserve at Portsmouth, though she is written in the Navy List as L 35.[10]
