Captain (retired) Harry Bingham Jermain, O.B.E., R.N. (31 January, 1886 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Retired Captain Jermain, R.N..
Jermain was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1907.[1]
During the war, Jermain served in the battleship Benbow until 16 March 1917, being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1915. He then was appointed to the battleship Ramillies.[2]
Jermain was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1919.[3]
In 1927 he was mentioned in a Foreign Office report for services in the wake of a Japanese earthquake.
In 1930, he ruptures a ligament in his leg.
Jermain was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 8 July, 1932.[4]
